On 25th May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force. We would like to make you aware of the changes to our privacy notice regarding communications with Village Dancentre.
Your personal data will be held to effectively communicate with you regarding dance sessions that you have expressed an interest in. We will not share your information with any other persons or companies without your explicit consent. If you wish to take dance exams with the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) then brief personal data is shared with them – this being the candidates full name and in the case of a child their date of birth.
Photographic and video permission is given by completing the appropriate form at the class and is held for a period of 5 years.
You are able to change your data preferences at any time by either replying to this email, or sending a separate email to email@example.com with the subject line DELETE PERSONAL DATA and a brief message requesting the deletion of your personal data. You may also phone on 07876 684133.
Please be aware that once your information is deleted I will not hold any historical information regarding Medal Tests taken with IDTA should you wish to check on this at a later date.
